Free Trading Tools
I occasionally build small tools for myself to trade and prepare sessions more cleanly. Instead of keeping them private, I put them here so you can copy, paste, and use them too. They are especially useful if you trade Tom Hougaard “situational analysis” type setups (School Run, Expresso, etc.) and they naturally support my own style of discretionary index trading.
How to use these tools
These are utilities, not a holy grail. They do not predict anything. They help with execution, structure, and visibility: the boring stuff that actually matters.
Most cTrader tools are provided as copy & paste code you compile in Automate. The TradingView tool is a script you add to your chart.
DAX Session Prep Map (TradingView)
A simple session prep overlay to mark levels and structure for the DAX. Built to support a clean, repeatable morning routine.
Open the tool page ->Copy & paste script. No subscription babysitting.
Partial Close Buttons (cBot)
Adds Close 25%, Close 50%, Close 75% buttons to your chart so you can scale out without typing volumes in a popup.
Open the tool page ->Fast partial exits for index day trading.
Session Bar Numbers (Indicator)
Prints bar numbers from a defined session start time. Makes review, journaling and teaching clearer.
Open the tool page ->The antidote to “which candle was it?”
Expresso Offset Levels (Indicator)
Shows High + offset and Low – offset for the current bar. Great for bracketing a signal bar (long above, short below) with a small offset.
Open the tool page ->Made for situational breakouts like Expresso.

Tools are easy. Consistent execution under pressure is not. If you want a structured review of your session prep, risk, and trade management, check out mentorship.
None of these tools provide trading signals, financial advice, or any promise of profitability. You are fully responsible for your own trading decisions, execution, and risk.
