Individual Mentoring

Becoming a professional retail trader is a lonely journey.
Consider having someone in your corner

I was approached by a gentleman from Ireland who asked me for help. He was already a break-even trader. His goals are to become profitable and spend less time in front of the monitors.

He became my first mentee.

I never thought about being a mentor. But now that I am working with other traders, I feel like I have something to pass on.

Why you would want a mentor

A mentor provides you with guidance to navigate the complex, fast-paced world of day trading, helping you avoid costly mistakes and build confidence.

With personalized feedback we can accelerate your learning while ensuring that you develop effective strategies suited to your risk tolerance and goals.

Where are you on your journey?

  • I am beginner
Great. You managed to avoid the fake gurus and are asking someone for help who has been there not so long ago.
  • I am a break-even trader
According to Larry Pesavento, you are close to getting profitable. Let’s work on that.
  • I have periods where I am profitable but still large P&L swings
There may be something to be adjusted with your risk management or the mental aspect. We can take a deep-dive.
  • I am consistantly profitable
Congratulations! I probably can’t help you any further.

Now let’s make something clear

I do not have a background in finance. I never worked for a broker, a bank or at a professional trading desk. I want you to understand who you get in bed with.
I started my trading journey 4 years ago, trying to navigate the daytrading sphere. There was so much BULLSHIT on social media.
You know what I am talking about: kids posing in rented Lamborghinis, flexing with photoshopped screenshots from prop-firm payouts. They are all so smart, but only with the benefit of perfect hind-sight.

I believe that I have a well functioning bullshit-barometer. I looked at the few experts who have an actual track record and traded live. I studied price-action material from Al Brooks and till this day consume everything of what Tom Hougaard shares – which is a lot.

Tom influenced me the most. I use mainly his entry techniques in my trading and I learned a lot about the mental aspect of trading from him. I also studied the material of Dr. Steve Ward and Mark Douglas on trading psychology.

Later in my journey, I also got influenced by a gentleman who goes by the handle “@patnrekognishn” on X, who taught me about institutional risk-management. He himself was mentored by Steve Ruffley, whose works I studied as well. But from all of the before-mentioned, Tom stands out, by far.
